I would totally recommend Reveal weight loss. A little bit of a backstory about why I decided to go through with this procedure, As a child, I was very skinny then around the time I hit puberty at 11 years old I started to slowly gain weight till I reached 175 pounds then in the last year and a half my weight started rapidly going Up until I reached a staggering 220 pounds. Dr. Shahid’s bedside manner is excellent. During the consultation, he took his time to make sure I knew all the details about the ESG procedure and answered all my questions. I didn’t feel like it was a sales pitch nor rushed as I did during my consultations with doctors who perform invasive surgeries. The aftercare was and continues to be exceptional. Less than 2 weeks and I’m down 25 pounds. Jennifer and Daisy are also amazing at what they do. They communicate effectively and make sure to quickly respond to any questions and address all concerns. The Nutritionist, Cameron, is also excellent. Her knowledge of the procedure and the body’s digestive, lymphatic, and nervous systems before and after ESG is exceptional. She is a godsend. Dr. Sarkar is excellent in what he does. He has forever changed my life. Give him the chance to tell you how he can change yours too! I am physically active. I am HAPPY. I went from taking 9 injections a day of insulin – I went from not being able to even have an intelligent discussion about nutrition. I went from not comprehending the impact of my actions were having on my overall health, to making better choices. I went from not caring to loving my life. And here’s the thing – I did it without ever (not even once) feeling deprived. I haven’t had bread, rice, pasta, fried food or carbonated beverages in 11 months (because I started the eating pattern before I had my surgery to make sure I could tolerate it). Did a lot of research for a practice who offered the ESG procedure & I chose Reveal Weight Loss. Both Doctors Sarkar & Shahid came highly recommended. My 1st experience was talking with Caryll, who was so informative, caring & supportive so I booked a consultation with Dr. Sarkar. He was so comforting with amazing bedside manners, knowledgeable, informative, caring & supportive. He explained the entire procedure process & recovery thoroughly. I then booked the date with Caryll for 9/25/23. She was so helpful keeping my pre-procedure testing in order & preparing me for the procedure. On 9/25/23 I arrived at Somerset Surgical Center, the staff & Anesthesiologist were extremely caring, professional in a super clean environment. I went in for the procedure with Dr. Sarkar & his team which went so smoothly. I went into the recovery room & was comforted by the staff & Dr. Sarkar for a successful procedure. I went home an hour & a half after the procedure. I felt great & was so happy I went through the ESG procedure. I chose this procedure due to the outcome of healthy weight loss, with no incisions, speedy recovery & results out of the gate + over time. The next morning, Somerset Surgical Center called me to check on my status. I felt great & went back to Reveal for a scheduled appointment on 9/26/23 for a checkup & IV Infusion to re-hydrate me.
